Akhe cooking title ceremony is all about elaboration of the actual cooking as an activity. While the cooking proper is done on a large scale, there is also a monetary aspect of the ceremony. The monetary aspect is a full prototype of the cooking activity where some women make fire, others grind the ingredients and some others pound the yam. Mrs Regina Aviomoh now proceed to the location where funds will be raised to represent the value of the cooking, here, every member of the kindred will make contributions to match the value of the cooked food. Africa and indeed the Uwanno people is known for communal living. This is fully showcased in this ceremony. Now the food is cooked with contributions from members of the kindred as it is literally done in the cooking process. Indeed, the meal is delicious and this will be presented by Regina to her husband as her token of honour for him.
