NAFDAC Raids Alcoholic Beverage Factories: In a nationwide crackdown on sachet alcohol, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has shut down three factories and seized products worth 6 million naira in Jos. The agency said the factories were violating the ban on sachet alcohol, as well as flouting manufacturing practices and operating without NAFDAC certification.
