It is a great honor for a man to be recognized by people especially when it is a reward for immense contribution to the growth and development of the community. While these contributions can be general and on wider community needs, there is the personal goodwill and care for individual welfare which is most admirable.
It is on this premise that His Royal Majesty, Dr George Eghabor, the Okumagbe of Uwanno Kingdom and indeed the entire indigens of the Uwanno kingdom found MSC Aviomoh worthy to be among other illustrious sons of the kingdom to be honored with a Senior High Chief tittle.
It was a sight to behold as the title was being conferred on him on the 31st of March, 2024 at the palace of the Okumagbe of Wanno kingdom amidst funfair and cerebrations. This title ranks second in the heirachy of chieftaincy in Uwanno kingdom in Etsako-East local government area of Edo State. It is given to those that have distinguished themselves in both their personal endeavors and contributions to the growth and development of the community.
Senior High Chief AVIOMOH M.S CLEMENT MBA, FCA, hails from Egor in Uwanno kingdom., He is the Group Managing Director /CEO of African Royal Shipping (ARS) He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Holds an MBA from the University of Lagos (1986). He has worked as Group Financial Director, Gemini Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Group Head, Financial Institutions, Crystal Bank/Standard Trust Bank (now UBA PLC). He has held the position of group Head, Commercial Treasury and Regional Manager (North) in Gateway Bank Plc. before he was appointed by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the Board of City Express Bank Plc, 2005 as Executive Director Operations. He was appointed in Sept, 2007 as Group Executive Director Finance and Information Technology in African Petroleum Plc, a position he held before the appointment as Group Managing Director of ARS GROUP.
He has been described by staff of ARS Group, His family members, the entire community of Egor and everyone that has crossed his benevolent path, as a man with a big heart, accommodating everyone that comes to him especially for mentorship as his desire and commitment to the growth of individuals is unrivalled.
